Three Rivers Landing - Where the Waters Meet

Three Rivers Landing - Where the Waters Meet

The Menominee River - The 118-mile long Menominee River begins as a union of the Brule River and the Michigamme River near Iron Mountain, Michigan. The river meanders southeasterly through largely undeveloped forest, prairie and savannah lands before entering the waters of Green Bay. Part of the boundary between Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Menominee River is the area's largest waterway.

The Pike River - Located upriver from Three Rivers Landing, the Pike River ends its journey through the forestlands of northeastern Wisconsin at the Menominee River. A cold stream watershed, the Pike River is listed as an outstanding resource waterway. With its miles of protected shores, picturesque waterfalls and excellent trout fishery, the Pike River is designated as a state wild and scenic river system.

The Shakey River - Michigan's Shakey River joins the Menominee River directly across from Three Rivers Landing. Its course takes it through large protected tracts of state forest lands. Upriver from its convergence with the Menominee River the Shakey River feeds the six connected Shakey Lakes.

While one could be content enjoying the waters of the Pike, Menominee and Shakey Rivers area there are also several other excellent waterways with boat launches close to the Three Rivers Landing property.
